Firefly Music Festival
Contribution: Art Direction & Design
The Ask
Develop a new set of stage banners for the third largest stage out of eight stages on the grounds of Firefly Music Fesitval. The design should not be year-specific and should stand out in the environment.
The Process
The first step was to think about the environment in which the stage would live. Keeping in mind that it would be in use from noon to midnight, it was important to think about visibility during various times of day.
Over the years, the brand developed a more vibrant, artistic personality (as shown in inspiration images above on the right). Upon recognizing this, it influenced my decision to go down a more bold, graphic direction that allowed the stage to act as an anchor for the space and tie all of the elements together.
