Social Pickleball Fun
Contribution: Design

The Ask

Social Pickleball Fun is a new indoor Pickleball facility that has recently opened up in Chicago. The SPF team came to me with a recently created brand and look & feel, in need of help bringing their brand to life in their newly renovated space. These needs included a full merchandise line, facility signage, wall mural designs, and bar & cafe menus.

Merchandise

Knowing how passionate Pickleball enthusiasts are, SPF wanted to create a small merchandise line that was conveyed styles that fit with both the brand and the city in which it resides. Leveraging the brand assets and colors, it was my responsibility to come up with a variety of graphics that spoke to the feeling of the brand.

Wall Mural Designs

Within the space, there exists a separate room with one court. This room can be rented for parties and is also equipped to facilitate a glow-in-the-dark Pickleball experience. The colors of the room and court are reminiscent of the Chicago flag, which lent itself nicely to designing murals that fit the theme from both a color and subject matter perspective.

Sales Collateral

As a new space equipped to accommodate events and gatherings of many sizes, it was important for SPF to put their best foot forward as they marketed their product to others. The below deck is a snapshot of how the brand was able to come to life for the purposes of educating the viewer on various aspects of the business and the space.

Signage

As you can imagine, a large warehouse full of people playing, connecting, and having a good time needs appropriate signage to create not only a safe space, but one that is also easy to navigate and allows the business to market various things to its patrons. Below are just a few examples of different types of signs I was asked to create for the space.
