The Ask

The client approached our agency looking for us to create a brand that accurately represented the modern renovations they would be making to two historic buildings in the heart of New York City, directly across from Madison Square Park. Using the intricate designs of the building’s architecture and its juxtaposition to the park as inspiration, the goal was to create something authentic and high end that would resonate with the clientele that would inevitably occupy the spaces.

Bringing a gold color into the brand palette felt like a necessary layer that will add to the overall elevated experience at every touchpoint. Because the color gold can be hard to achieve in a digital format, the decision was made that it would primarily be represented in a physical form through the use of foils, metallic inks, and brass.
